SkarbeX Application Privacy Policy

1. general information

The owner of the mobile application "SkarbeX" (hereinafter: Application) is Kamil Horst, based in Wola (43-225, Poland).
Contact with the administrator of the personal data is possible via e-mail address: skarbexapp@gmail.com.

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing of personal data of users of the Application and how to protect them in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (RODO).

By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2 Scope of data processed

The following data may be collected and processed as part of the use of the Application:

  • Name (if given),

  • Email address (e.g., at login or contacts),

  • location (geolocation, if the user has given permission),

  • photos or other user-submitted content,

  • data from your camera or device memory (with your permission),

  • Device identifiers, technical data (e.g., phone model, system version, IP),

  • data related to payments/subscriptions (via the Apple App Store or Google Play).

This data is processed only to the extent necessary for the proper operation of the Application.

3 Purposes of data processing

Users' personal information is used for the following purposes:

  • Provision of Application services - ensuring proper operation of the account, communication and personalization of content.

  • Security - preventing abuse, spam, rule or regulation violations.

  • Communication - to enable contact between users and with the administrator.

  • Subscriptions and payments - implementation of paid premium features and billing through the App Store / Google Play.

  • Analytics and service improvement - analyzing user behavior to improve the Application (using Firebase Analytics tools).

  • Marketing consents (if expressed) - sending notifications or messages regarding news in the Application.

4 Legal basis for processing

Data processing is carried out on the basis of:

  • Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO - performance of the contract (use of the Application and its functions),

  • Article 6(1)(c) RODO - fulfillment of legal obligations,

  • Article 6(1)(f) RODO - legitimate interests of the administrator (e.g. security, statistics),

  • Article 6(1)(a) RODO - user consent (e.g., location, marketing, cookies).

5 Data recipients

User data may be transferred only to entities necessary for the operation of the Application, such as:

  • Google LLC - (Firebase Authentication, Firestore Database, Firebase Storage, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics),

  • Apple Inc. / Google Play - for payment processing and subscriptions,

  • authorized public authorities - only on the basis of applicable laws.

The administrator does not sell or share personal data with others for commercial purposes.

6 Data storage and security

Data is stored in Google Firebase infrastructure, which provides a high level of security (encryption, access control, compliance with RODO and ISO 27001).

Data shall be stored for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, but no longer than for a period of time:

  • user account activity,

  • or until the user requests deletion of the data,

  • and backups can be kept for up to 30 days after account deletion.

7. user rights

The user has the right to:

  • access to their data,

  • rectification (correction) of data,

  • Deletion of data ("right to be forgotten"),

  • processing restrictions,

  • transfer of data to another entity,

  • Object to processing,

  • revoke consent (at any time).

The user also has the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection (OPAP).

8. account deletion

You may, at any time, request the permanent deletion of your account and all related personal information.

Once the request is confirmed, the data will be permanently deleted from the database and backups within 30 days.

9. cookies and tracking technologies

The application may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics) for statistical, diagnostic and technical purposes.

Users can disable analytics or change privacy settings at any time in the Application menu or system settings.

10. policy towards user content

Users are fully responsible for their published content (photos, comments, descriptions).

11. changes to the Privacy Policy

The administrator reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time.

Users will be informed of significant changes through a message in the Application.
