Deleting an Account in the SkarbeX Application

Effective date: October 21, 2025

1. introduction

In accordance with the principles of user privacy and the provisions of the RODO (Article 17 - Right to delete data), each user of the SkarbeX application has the right to permanently delete his/her account and all related personal data.

Deletion of the account is an irreversible process - once it is completed, it will not be possible to recover any information or content.

2. how to delete an account from within the application

To delete your account directly in the SkarbeX app, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account on the SkarbeX app.

  2. Go to the User Settings tab (profile icon in the upper right corner).

  3. Select the "Delete account" option .

  4. Confirm your decision by selecting "Yes, delete my account."

  5. Once confirmed, your account and all related data will be marked for deletion and permanently deleted within a maximum of 24 hours.

3. what data is deleted

Once the account deletion process is initiated, all your personal data will be permanently deleted, including:

  • name,

  • email address,

  • login data (Firebase Auth),

  • photos and posts published by the user,

  • chat and news history,

  • location data (geolocation),

  • data stored in the cache and on Firebase servers.

All this data is irreversibly deleted from Firebase and related services (Firestore, Storage, Authentication).

4. data that are not stored after deletion of the account

After confirming the deletion of the account:

  • no personal data of the user is stored, archived or processed,

  • system backups (backups) are automatically overwritten within a maximum of 30 days,

  • no metadata, device IDs or user activity logs are stored.

5. account deletion by e-mail (alternative method)

If you cannot log in to the application or do not have access to your account, you can request deletion of your account by email.

To this end:

  1. Send an email to: skarbexapp@gmail.com

  2. In the title, type: "SkarbeX account deletion".

  3. In the body, state:

    • your name,

    • The email address associated with the account,

    • A brief request to permanently delete the account.

Once your identity is verified, your account will be deleted and all data associated with your account permanently erased within a maximum of 72 hours.

6 Consequences of deleting an account

After deleting the account:

  • you lose access to all features of the application,

  • All posts, photos and messages will be deleted,

  • Your data will no longer be visible to other users,

  • any active premium subscriptions must be canceled on their own in the App Store or Google Play (deleting the account does not automatically cancel the subscription).

  • Article 17 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 (RODO),

  • Apple App Store Review Guidelines 5.1.1 (v),

  • Google Play Data Safety & Account Deletion Policy Guidelines,

  • SkarbeX Application Privacy Policy.
